Viimeistelin keittiön maalaamisen. Sen jälkeen
Jacqueline antoi minulle nopean kurssin passi- ja visakuvien ottamisesta
koska hän oli lähdössä Lontooseen. Kun saimme loppupäivän työtehtävät
selvitettyä hän lähti ja jäin studiolle yksikseni tekemään niitä ja
ottamaan vastaan mahdollisia asiakkaita. Harmikseni niitä ei tullut.
Olin kuitenkin ihan tarpeeksi kiireinen ilman niitäkin. Korjasin
taulunkehyksien esittelylaudan ja yritin selvittää miten saisin
joulukoristeen etuoven yläpuolelle, mutta työkaluilla mitä studiolta
löytyi se ei onnistunut. Joku äkäinen mummeli sanoi minulle, että on
oksettavaa miten aikaisin joulukoristeita laitetaan nykyään ja että ne
pitäisi laittaa aikaisintaan ensimmäinen joulukuuta. Pesin lasit jotka
olivat hyllyillä jotka maalasin ja vietin loppupäivän keräten
tapahtumajärjestys yritysten sähköposteja.

I finished painting the kitchen. Once that was done Jacqueline gave me a quick course about taking passport/visa photos, since she had to go to London and I would be left alone for the rest of the day. After figuring out the tasks I had for the day she left me to do them and take in possible customers. Sadly, none came. I was busy nonetheless; fixing a display for picture frames, figuring out how to get a christmas ornament on top of the door, which I couldn’t get done. Some grouchy old lady also told me it was ridiculous and that the earliest you should put christmas decorations up is first of December. I washed the glasses that were on the shelves I painted and spent the remainder of the day getting emails for event planning companies around the area.

Jacqueline would be arriving later from London so I opened up the studio. I didn’t have any specific tasks for the day so I continued collecting email addresses of companies. This time I concentrated wealth management companies. By the time Jacqueline arrived I was just about done, so good timing there. We finally set up the christmas ornament outside, above the front door. During that a customer came in wanting to take a photo for a pass, I decided it would be best for me to observe how Jacqueline operates for pass photos since the customer seemed to be in a hurry. After being done with the ornament she let me go early since there was work I couldn’t help with for the rest of the day.

Koska Jacqueline tulee Lontoosta vasta myöhemmin avasin studion itsekseni. Minulla ei ollut erityisempiä tehtäviä sille päivää joten jatkoin yritysten sähköpostien keräämistä. Tällä kertaa keskityin rahanhallinta-yrityksiin. Kun Jaqcueline tuli paikalle olin juuri valmis, joka oli hyvä ajoitus. Ripustimme yhdessä joulukoristeen etuoven päälle hänen hakemillaan nauloilla, jotka sopivat tiiliseinän läpäisemiseen. Kesken tämän tulikin asiakas, joka halusi passikuvan. Päätellen, että asiakas on aika kiireinen annoin Jacquelinen tehdä kuvan ottamisen ja tarkkailin, miten hän hoitaa homman. Kun nämä hommat olivat tehtynä hän päästi minut aikaisemmin, koska hänellä oli hommia joissa en voinu auttaa. Se oli mukavaa, koska olin suuntaamassa Lontooseen päin.
